نمایش عروسکی «نمکی» برداشتی آزاد از افسانه قدیمی ایرانی «نمکی» است. نمکی اسم یک دختربچه باهوش و جسور است که با مادرش در یک خانه با هشت در زندگی می کند. روزی نمکی تصمیم می گیرد یکی از در ها رو نبندد و ماجراها از آن جا شروع می شوند. این نمایش عروسکی با تخیل کوچیک تر ها و بزرگ تر ها بازی میکند و آن ها را به دنیای شگفت انگیز افسانه ها میبرد.
دینا و فرهاد هردو معلم و تسهیلگر کتابخوانی کودک و نوجوان هستند که سال ها در حوزه‌ی کار با کودک فعالیت کرده اند. به خاطر علاقه و دغدغه ای که برای کودکان دارند،اولین کتاب‌فروشی کودک فارسی را در کانادا تاسیس کرده اند. آرزوی آنها بهره‌مندی تمامی کودکان از فرهنگ و زبان مادری در سراسر دنیا است.آ
Dina and Farhad are both teachers and children's book facilitators who have years of experience in working with children. They have opened the first and only Persian children's bookstore in Canada because of their interest and affection for kids. They wish every child in the word to be able to benefit from their mother tongue and home culture.
