“Shahnameh Tale: Zahhak” is an epic tale from Shahnameh (the Book of Kings) with Douglas Ridloff portraying both Zahhak and Fereydun in a stunning display of Visual Vernacular (VV) and an invigorating shadow puppetry directed by Maryam Hafizirad. Discover how VV transcends language barriers, painting vibrant stories through expressive gestures, facial movements, and body language.
