نمایش فیلم‌های کودکان و نوجوانان می‌تواند پلی برای ارتباط بین نسل‌های قدیم و جدید و به ویژه خانواده‌های مهاجر باشد. تماشای این فیلم‌ها نه تنها آشنایی با بخشی از میراث فرهنگی کشور می‌باشد بلکه فرصتی هم برای بحث و گفتگو در مورد تفاوت‌های نسلی و تغییراتی که در جامعه رخ داده است، فراهم می‌کند.
تیرگان تلاش کرده تا با توجه به محدودیت زمانی، هفت فیلم منتخب از بین بیش از ۸۰ فیلم تولید شده در کانون از سال‌های ۱۳۴۸ تا ۱۳۵۷ را در تجلیل از خدمات کانون به فرهنگ و هنر ایران در فستیوال نوروزی به نمایش بگذارد.
ایده و انتخاب فیلم‌های این برنامه‌ی ویژه با عارف محمدی، نویسنده سینمایی و مستند ساز، می‌باشد.

Films designed for children and youth play a crucial role in bridging the gap between generations, particularly within immigrant families. These screenings do more than just introduce viewers to aspects of their cultural heritage; they open the floor for meaningful conversations about generational differences and societal evolution.
Seven standout films from an impressive catalog of over 80 works produced by the Institute (Kanoon) between 1969 and 1978 have been meticulously chosen for screening. This careful selection honours the Institute’s significant contributions to Iranian culture and the arts during the Nowruz Festival. The curation and conceptualization of this unique program were expertly handled by Aref Mohammadi, an esteemed film writer and documentary maker, ensuring a thoughtful and engaging film experience.
